Begin a transformative journey with EMDR & Mindfulness.

Embarking on a course of psychotherapy can be daunting, and finding the right person can be a challenge. I have been helping people who have suffered trauma, loss and psychological distress for over 20 years. I am an experienced Accredited EMDR Practitioner and Mindfulness teacher.

I take a compassionate, collaborative, and respectful approach in every therapeutic relationship. You can expect this from all interactions we have from our first conversation, to sessions and therapeutic work.

If you are considering taking this step, get in touch with me through the contact page or via email to arrange a brief telephone call to consider what therapeutic approaches would be appropriate, before deciding if you would like to proceed.

As an experienced and qualified psychotherapist, I work both in private practice and within the NHS as a Senior Psychological Therapist. I work with people who have experienced trauma and abuse of all kinds, and life-changing and appearance-altering injuries and conditions.

Additionally, I have had many years of experience working with veterans of all ages, who have experienced both psychological and physical trauma, injury and abuse as a result of their military service.

I am also experienced in helping people who have suffered all types of bereavement and loss.

Prior to my training in Counselling and Psychotherapy I was a registered general nurse, in burns nursing, elderly care, community nursing, and with cancer patients; both palliative and end of life care.
